Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate Chip Cookies are warm, cozy, and irresistibly comforting — soft and chewy on the inside with lightly crisp edges. Each bite brings together buttery richness and melty chocolate, making them perfect for a snack or a little treat anytime.
According to Ayurveda, these cookies are warming and grounding, supporting Vata types with their sweetness and heaviness. With small tweaks, they can also be made gentle for Pitta or lighter for Kapha — without changing the scrumptious taste.
Ayurvedic properties of key ingredients
Butter (browned) → Heavy, oily, grounding; pacifies Vata, increases Kapha.

Dosha Tweaks
For Pitta 🔥
Add a pinch of cardamom or vanilla extract for cooling without altering sweetness.
Sprinkle a tiny amount of coconut sugar in place of some white sugar (adds subtle cooling effect).
Use slightly less milk if digestion is sensitive.
For Kapha 💧
Use a smidge less butter or milk to slightly lighten, without changing texture.
Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg — very subtle, won’t affect the chocolate flavor.
